Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Embedded DevOps Engineer to support a large industrial automation and manufacturing technology client in Shakopee, MN. This role will serve as the technical lead for establishing and scaling modern DevOps and CI/CD practices for embedded firmware development within the Cross Portfolio, Technology and Innovation (CPTI) organization. The engineer will design and implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for embedded C/C++ firmware, lead adoption of Azure DevOps across embedded teams, and guide the transition from legacy source control systems into modern DevOps workflows. Day to day, this role partners closely with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and product stakeholders to align build, test, release, and security processes with platform needs, while also mentoring teams on Azure DevOps best practices and compliance requirements. The work is primarily focused on Azure DevOps configuration, security, and infrastructure (~50%), CI/CD pipeline design and automation (~40%), and some embedded C/C++ work (~10%) to effectively collaborate with development teams.
