Position Overview The Power Platform Developer is a hands-on technical role responsible for building, maintaining, and improving business applications and workflow automations using the Microsoft Power Platform. This individual will develop Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and related integrations that streamline operations and solve real business problems across the organization. This is an individual contributor role that works closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other technology team members to turn requirements into functional, reliable solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated builder who takes pride in delivering clean, well-documented work and is eager to grow their skills within the Microsoft ecosystem Key Responsibilities Application Development- Design and build Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to meet business requirements, from simple data entry tools to multi-screen business applications
- Write and maintain Power Fx expressions, formulas and app logic to deliver intuitive, performant user experiences
- Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, views, forms and business rules to support application data needs
- Maintain and enhance existing Power Apps solutions based on user feedback, changing requirements and evolving business needs Workflow Automation
- Build Power Automate cloud flows to automate business processes including approvals, notifications, data synchronization and document generation
- Develop Power Automate Desktop flows for scenarios requiring interaction with legacy applications, file systems or desktop-based processes Integration
- Build integrations between Power Platform and Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive
- Develop and consume REST APIs and custom connectors to connect Power Platform solutions with line-of-business and third-party systems
- Work with Microsoft Graph API to interact with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Ensure integrations include proper authentication, error handling and data validation Quality & Documentation
- Follow established development standards including naming conventions, solution structure, and coding patterns
- Write clear technical documentation for solutions including data models, flow logic and configuration details
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve solution quality
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues identified during testing cycles
- Comply with organizational governance policies including DLP policies and environment management standards Collaboration & Support
- Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide hands-on support for Power Platform solutions including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and user assistance
- Collaborate with Technology Manager, data and reporting team members to ensure solutions align with broader technology standards
- Participate in spring planning, backlog grooming and project delivery activities
- Share knowledge with team members and contribute to reusable component libraries and internal documentation

- Microsoft certification such as Pl-400 (Power Platform Developer Associate) or PL-200 (Functional Consultant Associate)
- Experience with power Automate Desktop (PAD) or RPA and desktop automation
- Experience with Model-Driven Power Apps and Dataverse data modeling
- Exposure to Power BI including basic report development and date modeling concepts
- Familiarity with SharePoint administration, document libraries and list configuration
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API integrations
- Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Functions or Logic Apps
- Basic proficiency in a scripting or programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript or C#
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing experience solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Proficiency with Power Apps Canvas apps including galleries, forms, navigation, Power Fx formulas and data connections
- Solid experience with Power automate cloud flows including actions, conditions, expressions, HTTP connectors and error handling
- Working knowledge of Dataverse or SharePoint as primary data sources for Power Platform solutions
- Basic understanding of REST Apis, JSON, and modern authentication concepts (OAuth 2.0)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and Entra ID
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug issues across apps, flows and data connections
- Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
- Self-directed work style with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
