Overview ConsultAdd is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer for a short-term contract engagement supporting a focused infrastructure project. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on engineer who can step in quickly, assess environments, and execute efficiently within a defined timeline. Work Type:

Part-time contract Key Responsibilities  Assess and support existing infrastructure environments (on-prem and/or cloud)  Assist with system configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting  Support network, server, and system administration tasks  Implement infrastructure improvements and best practices  Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stability, performance, and security  Document configurations, processes, and changes made during the project  Provide recommendations for long-term infrastructure enhancements Required Qualifications  5-7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems engineering  Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux environments  Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)  Server management and system administration  Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus)  Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues independently  Strong documentation and communication skills  Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver within a short project window Preferred Qualifications  Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)  Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools  Exposure to security best practices and compliance environments What We're Looking For  Someone who can hit the ground running  A problem-solver who doesn't need heavy oversight  Clear communicator who can provide updates and recommendations  Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the project
