mail Tweet Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Apply Now > Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands. This position is contingent upon award news expected Spring of 2026. Work will be performed onsite in Pascagoula, MS. Must be local to the area.
Duties:
Perform Systems Engineering for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for shipboard C5ISR systems. Plan and delivery of high-quality Systems Engineering deliverables including contract CDRLS in support of program requirements Develop, update, and maintain project Systems Engineering documents including stage 4 and 5 test procedures, engineering block diagrams, and system manuals for shipboard C5ISR systems Communicate to assigned Program Manager all key project plans, and engineering changes including requirements, C5ISR systems configurations and status, schedule, and scope changes Assess C5ISR systems engineering change proposals and document risks and impacts to project milestones and deliverables Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing Please view our Program page for more information and to view all open positions available: SAIC - Shipyard C5
ISR Integration Careers Qualifications Qualification Requirements:
Engineering Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more relevant experience with shipboard C5ISR experience on TWO or more of these systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System; BS degree maybe offset with an additional 4 years of relevant C5ISR experience. Must be a U.S.
Citizen Required Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance Required Certification:
Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) - IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CISSP or equivalent (or willing to obtain within 180 days of hiring)
Desired Qualification and Experience:
Proficiency with Autocad, Adobe and Microsoft Office suite Familiar with
C4ISR/C5ISR
Interface Control Documents, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings Prior experience providing support for a shipyard environment project Professional Engineer or Engineer In Training Certification (EIT) Overview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
