Relocation assistance is offered for this position to qualified candidates to an approved work location. Approved work locations include the following PDCA facilities: (1) Arden, NC or (2)

Fayetteville, NC Essential Functions:

A. Deploying and supporting Front End Engineering systems for the assigned product line. B. Support the development of product line specific training documentation on their use of the engineering software tools and processes. C. Manage MI System issues tickets through individual contribution and coordination of other Eaton resources. D. Lead the maintenance and improvement of systems (Bid Manager, Mi Manager, POM, etc.) to meet the needs of all stakeholders, inclusive of product line personnel, plant personnel, PMO and NAS. E. Providing a focal point for the manufacturing plants to address issues relating to front end operating systems and related practices. F. Gather requests for system enhancements and communicate those to the appropriate development manager. G. Be available for after-hours and weekend support. H. Participate in product line meetings on Front End Systems projects and continuous improvement activities, driving best practices and knowledge sharing across the various teams (engineering, design and systems) I. Maintain Front End Systems turnback/enhancement database (SharePoint tickets) and related Change Management processes, coordinating priorities with various stakeholders and team members. J. Support defect resolution for ServiceNow (SNOW) tickets through error recreation and documentation through interactions with product line engineering teams, systems developers and IT developers.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or Information Technology field from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of applicable experience with engineered-to-order (ETO) products and their associated configuration tools.
• Authorized to work in the US without Company Sponsorship now or within the future
• Travel - up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference will be given toward candidates with extensive experience in Eaton's ETO software tools including, but not limited to: Bid Manager, MI Manager, Design Automation, DCMS, Plant Order Manager, Pick Work Bench, etc.

Skills:

Trainer, Front End Engineering Systems

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient use of Eaton's ETO software systems and AutoCAD.
• object oriented programming language such as VB.Net
• Management and development of databases.

• This position is responsible for support of front end systems for the PDCA division within the general direction of management.
• The incumbent must have broad vision and be creative in problem solving approach.

• The incumbent must be controlled under pressure and requires the ability to think logically.
