Get to Know This Role The Senior Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations across Sierra Nevada's enterprise application landscape. Owning the Boomi integration platform and working in close partnership with Systems Analysts and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that data flows reliably between 30+ source and target systems and that integration work moves from requirement to delivery with speed and accountability. This is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership role in a high-volume integration environment, built for someone who takes pride in getting things done. What You Will Do Integration Delivery & Ownership Manage a high volume of concurrent integrations in a fast-paced enterprise environment, balancing speed with reliability and quality Design, build, test, and deploy integrations across enterprise systems using Boomi as the primary platform Own integrations end-to-end from solution design through go-live and ongoing support Support technical master data management (MDM) efforts, including hub integrations, data syndication, and data quality tooling in partnership with platform and data teams Identify blockers early and drive resolution in partnership with SAs, vendors, and technical teammates Maintain integration documentation, versioning, and change management practices Boomi Platform Administration Serve as the primary owner and administrator of the Boomi integration platform Maintain platform health, performance, and governance standards Evaluate and implement platform best practices and reusable patterns Integration Support & Reliability Monitor integration performance and proactively address failures or degradation Triage and resolve integration incidents in a timely manner Partner with Systems Analysts to understand downstream impacts and communicate status to stakeholders Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with Systems Analysts who gather and own business requirements, translating them into integration solutions Contribute to integration roadmap planning and backlog prioritization Identify opportunities to improve integration patterns, reduce technical debt, and increase delivery velocity Please Apply if You Have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required required 7 years of experience in integration engineering or a closely related technical role required and Hands-on experience with an iPaaS platform (Boomi preferred; Mulesoft, Azure Logic Apps, or similar considered) required and Solid understanding of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and data transformation concepts required and Proficiency with Python and Databricks notebooks for data transformation and integration logic required and Practical experience using AI tools and agentic development workflows to accelerate code development (e.g., LLM-assisted development in Databricks or Boomi contexts) preferred Experience working across multiple systems in a complex enterprise environment Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Ability to manage multiple in-flight integrations and prioritize effectively Clear communicator — able to translate technical status and blockers for non-technical stakeholders Exposure to ERP, WMS, CRM, or manufacturing systems in an integration context Working knowledge of SQL for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting Experience in food & beverage, manufacturing, or CPG industries Boomi certification preferred Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying Before applying for this role, please review the full job description, including the physical demands and working environment: https://sierranevada.jdxpert.com/ShowJob.aspx?
