Platform Engineer

job summary: Knowledge of designing, developing, and deploying applications following established patterns and best practices Experience leveraging DevAssist tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to optimize development workflows location: Merrimack, New Hampshire job type: Contract salary: $58 - 59 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or marketplaces at enterprise scale Experience with IDEs (VS Code or similar) and extension/plugin ecosystems Designing secure, high availability distributed systems and APIs qualifications: Working across organizational boundaries to deliver platform capabilities used by diverse engineering teams Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) along with solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
