  • Temporary Alexander Technology Group is partnering with a global organization to add a Site Reliability Engineer II to their Cloud Platform team.
This role supports the reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud-hosted applications, with a strong focus on database operations and infrastructure automation. The environment is primarily AWS, with a stable, well-managed platform and a collaborative global team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support cloud infrastructure and platform reliability (AWS, some GCP/Azure) Perform core DBA tasks: backups, restores, patching, and performance support Contribute to automation using IaC (Terraform, Pulumi) and scripting Participate in monitoring, incident response, and on-call rotation Partner with engineering teams on deployments and system improvements
Qualifications:
4-6 years in SRE, Cloud, or DevOps environments Strong database experience (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Exposure to containers (ECS, Kubernetes) and modern monitoring tools
Additional:
Strong culture fit: curious, solutions-oriented, and automation-focused (AI exposure a plus) U.S. Citizen required; must be based in the U.S.
