Pay Range:

$67hr - $72hr The VMware Cloud Foundation Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions using VMware technologies. The role involves developing architecture designs, leading migrations, and driving adoption of cloud solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and ensure high-performance and scalable cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Create high-level and low-level designs for software-defined data center deployments. Implement VMware Cloud Foundation architectures aligned with business needs and best practices. Develop detailed implementation plans, blueprints, and technical documentation. Perform capacity planning and optimize performance of cloud environments. Design automation frameworks for provisioning and observability. Lead migration strategies from legacy platforms ensuring minimal disruption. Drive enterprise adoption and utilization of cloud solutions. Provide training and knowledge transfer to stakeholders and technical teams. Collaborate with stakeholders for decision-making and project execution. Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

Skills:

Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and related technologies. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell. Knowledge of cloud architecture, storage, and networking concepts. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and create executive-level documentation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience:

8+ years of professional experience in IT or cloud architecture roles. 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as consulting or system integration. Experience in designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

Should Have:

VMware Cloud Foundation certifications. Strong understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends. Experience conducting discovery workshops and technical sessions.
