Job Description

Enterprise Data Architect Hybrid
  • 2 days per month, onsite, in Newark, NJ is required The Data Architect defines enterprise data architecture standards, ingestion frameworks, and governance patterns to ensure high-quality, consistent data across the organization.
This senior-level role focuses on creating reusable data models, exchange patterns, and quality frameworks. The Data Architect collaborates with data platform, integration, and governance teams to drive data modernization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define data modeling standards and domain model frameworks.
  • Create ingestion frameworks with schema validation, quality checks, and exception handling.
  • Develop data exchange patterns for internal and third-party integrations.
  • Establish data lifecycle, persistence, and master data management standards.
  • Define data governance, privacy, and protection patterns.
  • Build data quality frameworks and classification models.
  • Develop modernization roadmaps and train architects on data patterns.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years in data architecture or engineering.
  • 5+ years creating enterprise data standards and frameworks.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ingestion pipelines, data exchange, and governance.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, data lakes, and warehouses.

TOGAF, DAMA
CDMP, and cloud data certifications preferred. The Data Architect will deliver ingestion frameworks, data exchange patterns, and governance models that ensure trusted, scalable data across the enterprise. This is a strategic role for a Data Architect passionate about data quality and architecture excellence.
