JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End Delivery & Pod Leadership (40%) Own the full delivery lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through development, testing, and production release, for the Enterprise Platform across multiple engineering pods. Establish and enforce engineering standards, code review practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management processes to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery. Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical estimation in partnership with product management; remove blockers and ensure pods maintain delivery velocity. Architect scalable, resilient platform components that support workflow integration with enterprise applications, optimizing for performance, reliability, and developer experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management (30%) Serve as the primary technical point of contact across product, design, infrastructure, security, and business teams; facilitate alignment on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines. Translate business requirements and product vision into actionable technical specifications, ensuring clarity for engineering teams and feasibility for stakeholders. Lead cross-pod coordination for platform-wide initiatives, managing inter-team dependencies and ensuring cohesive integration across services and workflows. Communicate technical strategy, progress, and risk to senior leadership; provide data-driven recommendations on trade-offs and investment priorities. Connect business and technology teams to ensure that solution decisions are grounded in real business outcomes and that all teams have shared context on goals and constraints. Solution Strategy & Platform Excellence (20%) Define and evolve the platform's technical architecture and solution roadmap, incorporating emerging capabilities, integration patterns, and enterprise best practices. Evaluate and adopt technologies, frameworks, and tooling that improve developer productivity, platform scalability, and operational excellence. Establish observability, monitoring, and incident response practices to ensure platform stability and rapid issue resolution. Partner with business leaders to ensure the platform roadmap reflects strategic priorities and delivers measurable value to internal users and the broader organization. Team Development & Engineering Culture (10%) Mentor and coach engineers across pods; foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and constructive feedback. Lead hiring efforts for engineering talent, participate in interviews, and contribute to onboarding programs that accelerate new team member productivity. Champion knowledge-sharing through design reviews, tech talks, and documentation standards.Required Skill:
7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role, ideally in SaaS, enterprise platforms, or developer-focused environments. Proven track record of leading end-to-end solution delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams or engineering pods. Deep expertise in modern software architecture, microservices, event-driven systems, and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC). Strong ability to connect business strategy to technology execution, translating stakeholder needs into platform capabilities and measurable outcomes. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling. Excellent ability to deconstruct complex problems, prioritize solutions, and execute strategic technical plans aligned with business objectives. Outstanding communication skills for articulating solution architecture and delivery status to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders. Experience managing cross-functional relationships and driving alignment across product, design, infrastructure, security, and business teams.Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a demonstrated history of technical leadership and delivery ownership. Strong background in building internal tools, developer platforms, or enterprise solutions at scale. Track record of delivering complex, multi-team platform initiatives from concept through production. Proactive approach to identifying systemic improvements in engineering processes, platform architecture, and cross-team collaboration. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts, trade-offs, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.Similar remote jobs
