Job Description SOLU is seeking an experienced Business Architect to help shape and evolve enterprise-wide business architecture initiatives. This strategic role serves as the critical link between business strategy and organizational execution, ensuring that enterprise investments, transformation programs, and operational initiatives align with long-term business objectives. The Business Architect will define and maintain business architecture frameworks, capability models, value streams, and operating models that provide visibility into how the organization creates value and achieves strategic outcomes. This individual will collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to drive alignment across strategy, processes, technology, and organizational capabilities. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Alignment Translate enterprise strategy into actionable business architecture roadmaps. Align business capabilities, value streams, and initiatives with strategic goals and desired outcomes. Provide architectural guidance to support enterprise planning and transformation efforts. Business Architecture Development Create and maintain business capability maps, value stream models, and operating model frameworks. Develop current-state and future-state business architecture views. Ensure architectural artifacts accurately reflect business priorities and organizational objectives. Transformation & Portfolio Support Assess organizational capabilities to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Recommend and prioritize investments based on business value and strategic impact. Support portfolio management, initiative planning, and transformation governance activities. Enterprise Analysis Evaluate business processes, organizational structures, and supporting systems to improve alignment and effectiveness. Provide business-focused analysis and requirements that support enterprise transformation initiatives. Drive continuous improvement through capability-based planning and enterprise assessment. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with executive leadership, product management, enterprise architecture, and delivery teams. Facilitate cross-functional discussions to build alignment between business and technology organizations. Communicate architectural concepts and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Governance & Architecture Standards Establish and promote business architecture methodologies, standards, and best practices. Ensure traceability between business strategy, capabilities, initiatives, and measurable outcomes. Support governance processes that reinforce strategic alignment and execution discipline. Cross-Functional Architecture Integration Collaborate closely with Enterprise, Solution, Data, and Technology Architects. Ensure business objectives are accurately reflected within solution and technology designs. Promote consistency and alignment across all architecture disciplines. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Management, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, management consulting, strategic planning, or related fields. Demonstrated experience developing business architecture deliverables such as capability maps, value streams, operating models, and target-state frameworks. Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence decision-making across multiple business and technology functions. Desired Qualifications Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related field. Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
