Job Description

DevOps Platform Engineer (FTE or W2)
Introduction:
As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools needed to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software products.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery. Manage and maintain platform infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve issues related to deployment and performance. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Ensure security and compliance requirements are met for all platform components. Document processes and procedures for platform maintenance and support. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in DevOps and platform engineering.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Strong experience in DevOps practices and principles. Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. Experience managing platform infrastructure in a production environment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications in DevOps or platform engineering. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
