SUMMARY:
The IT Enterprise Solution Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering cross-functional, end-to-end technology solutions across the enterprise. This role ensures that solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives, while enabling modernization and continuous improvement. Operating across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and cyber security concerns, the architect acts as a bridge between technology teams and key stakeholders, translating requirements into cohesive architectures that support both current state operations and future state capabilities QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required
Minimum eight years of progressive IT experience with solution or enterprise architecture responsibilities
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments preferred
Demonstrated experience across multiple technology domains, including applications, data platforms, infrastructure, and cyber security
Strong understanding of:
Enterprise application and integration architectures
Data architecture, analytics platforms, and governance models
Cloud, hybrid, and on prem infrastructure architectures
Proven ability to evaluate and integrate SaaS and vendor platforms into enterprise ecosystems
TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred
Cloud platform certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) preferred JOB DUTIES
Defines and governs end-to-end solution architectures spanning applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and security
Develops current-state and target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and architectural decision records aligned with enterprise standards and technology strategy
Ensures solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, compliant, and operable at scale by embedding security-, privacy-, and resilience-by-design principles
Balances functional, non-functional, regulatory, and security requirements, evaluating trade-offs across cost, performance, risk, scalability, and maintainability
Identifies, documents, and mitigates architectural and security risks throughout the solution lifecycle
Acts as a bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders, translating organizational needs into cohesive, secure technical solutions
Partners with platform, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and delivery teams to support solution execution, issue resolution, and architectural assurance
Leads and participates in architecture and security design reviews for major initiatives and third-party solutions
Strategic Architecture & Initiative Leadership
Contributes to enterprise architecture direction aligned with the multi-year transformation roadmap
Provides architectural leadership across the full project lifecycle, from ideation through production readiness and go-live
Supports cloud-first, AI, and automation initiatives through solution architecture design and implementation guidance
Identifies cross-project dependencies, integration impacts, and technical risks across initiatives
Evaluates and guides vendor and SaaS solutions, ensuring architectural fit, security posture, and alignment with enterprise standards
Produces and maintains architecture artifacts, including solution designs, diagrams, integration patterns, security models, and decision records
Contributes to and enforce architecture and security governance, standards, and best practices
Supports required project lifecycle documentation, including solution designs and infrastructure estimates

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. All candidates will be subject to a background check, credit check, and drug test to determine employment eligibility.
