Infrastructure Engineer, Level I

• strong desire to support and mentor What you'll do: Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors Work and support of wired and wireless network infrastructure, routing and switching, telephony, firewall, video surveillance and access control solutions Add and delete users as required on network servers and applications Perform both routine and emergency maintenance Analyze, recommend and evaluate new hardware and software products for network compatibility Develop, maintain and update a library of technical documentation Assist with staging activities for telephony, wireless, network, and data center installations, as well as various other solutions as needed Participate in customer project meetings Keep current on new developments and techniques in information technology Participate on special projects and Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Develop processes, implement effective workflows and embrace best practices Provide redundancy and backup support for other team members All other duties as assigned What we require: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant prior work experience Technical certifications and/or technical training in local and wide area networks and/or communications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required within 90 days of employment Obtain additional certifications, as required Availability to work nights and weekends as scheduled Must be able to travel to various company and customer sites as required Experience with technology manufacturers (i.

e.
