CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS UNTIL FILLED. JOB DESCRIPTION - FULL TIME
Efficiently manage and optimize Ellucian's Banner, Ellucian SaaS Platform, and third-party systems to develop, implement, and modify course schedules. Provide training and support to academic stakeholders, contributing to the overall enhancement of academic advising, student success initiatives, and course scheduling processes within the university.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with academic departments to understand their scheduling needs and constraints. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the accurate representation of course offerings within the Ellucian SaaS Platform. Modify existing course schedules as needed, ensuring accurate and clear understanding for students while minimizing disruption to academic activities. Offer support and troubleshoot issues related to course scheduling. Provide training to academic advisors, faculty, and staff on the effective use of course scheduling tools including but not limited to Banner Self-Service, Degreeworks, change request platform, AI, etc. Assists in the continued modernization of processes for the benefit of the students and departments through innovative uses of Ellucian SaaS Platform and approved AI tools. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
: Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
: Experience with course scheduling systems and processes preferred. Experience using Ellucian's Banner, Ellucian SaaS Platform, Microsoft Power Platform, and AI tools preferred. Position requires accuracy of data entry, strong critical thinking, strong communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality of information. Maintains compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy and its' procedures.
