Partner with SoC and power delivery architects, operating system designers, control system engineers and platform power management stakeholders to drive high-efficiency system architectures. Develop and specify new hardware and software features to extract maximum capabilities from systems operating under power, performance and thermal constraints. Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering degree. 20+ years of relevant industry experience. Experience with software performance analysis and optimization. Experience with operating system implementation. Experience with power delivery control, thermal management and workload scheduling at scale. Experience with machine learning workloads. Minimum Qualifications B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar engineering degree. Experience with computer architecture. Experience with power management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $212,000 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
