Cloud Systems Admin (AWS)

ECS is seeking aCloud Systems Admin (AWS)to work in ourMechanicsburg, PAoffice. We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our team supporting a large DoD program that operates and maintains an AWS GovCloud environment to take advantage of the many benefits offered by commercial cloud hosting, such as the ability to accelerate IT delivery, efficiency and innovation.

Must be able to fully install, configure, modify, sustain, and troubleshoot the following:

Microsoft Server OSInternet Information ServicesWindows Server Updates ServicesRed Hat Enterprise Linux serversWindows DefenderPowerShell AutomationFamiliarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)and Security Requirements Guides for the Department of Defense (DOD)An understanding of cloud-based technologies with a desire to learn more.

Experience analyzing logs to be able to determine root causes for problems.

Experience working with cloud provider infrastructure as a service and networking technologies (preferred platforms include Amazon Web Services (GovCloud).Highly technical and analytical possessing 2+ years of IT platform implementation experience.2-5+ years of relevant experience in a progression of roles to include delivering and sustaining technical solutions.

Demonstrated customer focus and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges.

Proven experience in communicating and demonstrating the value of technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders to address complex and competing drivers in complex technical environments.
