Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative AWS Architect with expertise in AI and Automation to lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud solutions that leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) along with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and automation technologies. Responsibilities Experience with AI-focussed projects, AI-based applications (chatbots & AI agent solutions Experience with building and implementing automation frameworks for self-service resource provisioning on cloud platforms. Design and develop comprehensive AWS cloud architectures aligned with enterprise needs, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Lead the integration of AI-driven solutions within cloud environments to enhance automation, data processing, and intelligent decision-making capabilities. Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate deployment processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, create detailed technical specifications, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems such as VMware, OpenStack, or Rackspace. Optimize cloud infrastructure performance by monitoring key metrics and implementing best practices for security, cost management, and resource utilization. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as FedRAMP for government-related projects and maintain robust security protocols across all cloud services. Provide technical leadership on service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices development, and API management using RESTful APIs for scalable web services. Support continuous improvement through Agile methodologies by participating in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Stay current on emerging trends in cloud computing—including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure—and incorporate innovative solutions into architecture strategies. Experience Proven experience designing large-scale cloud architectures using AWS services such as S3 (Simple Storage Service), EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), Lambda functions, and other core offerings. Strong background in virtualization technologies including VMware, OpenStack, Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, and Rackspace environments. Hands-on expertise with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Demonstrated knowledge of security standards such as FedRAMP compliance and implementing VPNs for secure connectivity. Familiarity with programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby on Rails or PowerShell for scripting automation tasks. Experience working within IT environments utilizing operating systems like Linux and Windows across diverse platforms. Deep understanding of system design principles involving microservices architecture, SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and application development lifecycle. Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server—plus NoSQL options—and their integration within cloud solutions. Ability to work effectively in Agile teams utilizing DevOps practices to streamline software deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
