Job Description
Experteer Overview As a Cloud Engineer on Fisher Investments' Azure-focused Cloud team, you will design, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure while enhancing security and efficiency through automation. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, and infrastructure peers to deliver compliant, reliable cloud solutions and to explore new technologies. You will drive IaC, CI/CD, and automation to enable fast, safe deployments and provide 24/7 support as needed. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional partnership to advance our cloud strategy and security posture.

Develop and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure and automation tooling
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand cloud requirements and design effective solutions
Provide technical support and resolve cloud performance bottlenecks
Advise on and document Cloud & AI-based solutions for technical and non-technical audiences
Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes
Deploy enterprise-scale cloud resources and ensure standards, security, and compliance
Act as liaison between business application owners and cloud team
Participate in code reviews, design collaboration, and on-call rotations
Monitor, logging, and security controls to meet compliance and audits
Investigate current cloud usage, identify gaps, and propose optimizations
Provide international and 24/7 support during planned/unplanned maintenance Tasks
10+ years of IT infrastructure deployment and management in manual and automated environments
5+ years Azure cloud deployments with IaC, IaaS and PaaS
4+ years building automated cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments; Terraform; Azure CLI
3+ years CI/CD pipelines and YAML for GitHub Actions; troubleshooting in Azure
1+ year deploying, operating Kubernetes-based platforms; AI platforms in Azure or similar
Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS, security controls, encryption, DNS/LAN/WAN, IAM
Experience with Linux and Windows server environments
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow; PowerShell; scripting
Knowledge of Octopus Deploy and Ansible preferred
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences Key requirements
