Azure Cloud Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy and maintain scalable Azure-based infrastructure, prioritizing security, automation, and reliability. You'll partner with infrastructure and business teams to translate cloud requirements into robust, compliant solutions and drive efficiency through automation and IaC. You'll perform PoCs, advise on new technologies, and support global operations with 24/7 on-call coverage. This role offers visible impact on cloud deployment standards and security controls, within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Monitor current cloud usage, identify gaps, and propose optimizations
• Provide international and 24/7 on-call support for maintenance Tasks
• 10+ years deploying resources and managing IT infrastructure (manual and automated)
• 5+ years Azure cloud deployments using IaC, IaaS and PaaS
• 4+ years building automated cloud infrastructure across Prod and non-Prod environments
• GitHub, GitHub Actions experience
• Scripting and automation of builds, workflows, tasks
• Azure CLI and YAML for GitHub Actions
• 3+ years CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting in Azure
• Kubernetes, AI platforms on Azure or equivalent
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Data Factory)
• Security, identity management, compliance and encryption knowledge
• Experience explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical teams
• DNS, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, IAM, Linux and Windows Server
• Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow; PowerShell; Octopus Deploy and Ansible preferred
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field Key requirements
