Job Description
Experteer Overview As a Cloud Engineer, you will design, deploy and maintain scalable Azure-based infrastructure, prioritizing security, automation, and reliability. You'll partner with infrastructure and business teams to translate cloud requirements into robust, compliant solutions and drive efficiency through automation and IaC. You'll perform PoCs, advise on new technologies, and support global operations with 24/7 on-call coverage. This role offers visible impact on cloud deployment standards and security controls, within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Develop and maintain scalable Cloud infrastructure on Azure
Collaborate with stakeholders to design effective cloud solutions
Troubleshoot cloud performance and issues

Design and manage automation tooling for routine operations

Serve as liaison between business application owners and the cloud team
Adhere to security audit requirements and controls in all actions
Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and tooling processes for faster, reliable deployments
Participate in peer reviews, design collaboration, and on-call rotations
Use configuration management to provide cloud services with best practices
Ensure solutions align with standards, security controls and best practices
Monitor current cloud usage, identify gaps, and propose optimizations
Provide international and 24/7 on-call support for maintenance Tasks
10+ years deploying resources and managing IT infrastructure (manual and automated)
5+ years Azure cloud deployments using IaC, IaaS and PaaS
4+ years building automated cloud infrastructure across Prod and non-Prod environments
GitHub, GitHub Actions experience
Scripting and automation of builds, workflows, tasks
Azure CLI and YAML for GitHub Actions
3+ years CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting in Azure
Kubernetes, AI platforms on Azure or equivalent
Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, Storage, Networking, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Data Factory)
Security, identity management, compliance and encryption knowledge
Experience explaining complex concepts to technical and non-technical teams
DNS, LAN/WAN, Firewalls, IAM, Linux and Windows Server
Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow; PowerShell; Octopus Deploy and Ansible preferred
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field Key requirements
