Summary:
We are seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer with strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure and on‑premises Windows environments. You will be responsible for building, operating, and improving hybrid infrastructures for multiple clients, with a focus on reliability, security, and standardization.

In person (office and client sites; some remote work possible depending on projects) Responsibilities Administer and support Azure resources for multiple clients: virtual machines, storage, networking, and core platform services. Manage Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity (synchronization with on‑prem AD, SSO, conditional access, MFA). Implement and support hybrid connectivity between on‑prem and Azure (VPN gateways, site‑to‑site tunnels, routing, DNS). Maintain and support Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, file/print services) and integrate them with Azure. Configure and manage Azure Backup , Azure Site Recovery , and other backup/DR solutions. Implement and maintain security controls in
Azure:
RBAC, NSGs, Defender for Cloud, policies, and monitoring/alerts. Assist with migrations from on‑prem to Azure (servers, applications, file shares) following established patterns. Work with network and security engineers to ensure consistent design and standards across client environments. Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and diagrams for Azure and on‑prem environments. Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and an on‑call rotation as needed. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services). 2+ years hands-on experience managing Azure in production environments (IaaS and core platform services). Strong understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID , hybrid identity concepts, and Microsoft 365 integration. Solid grasp of Azure networking basics: VNets, subnets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, routing, and DNS in hybrid environments. Experience with backup and recovery solutions (Azure Backup, on‑prem backup platforms). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex hybrid environments. Ability to manage multiple client environments simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with non-technical users. Good documentation habits and attention to detail.
