Full-Time Job Duties:

1. Design, implement, and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions. 2. Provide advanced level technical support and ensure reliable operation of cloud production. Troubleshoot software systems on multiple cloud computing platforms and system integration into existing cloud computing platforms. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms. 3. Develop technical standards. Test and evaluate IT vendor products. Review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime. 4. Elevate code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up production support. Submit change control requests and documents. 5. Learn and understand client area business functions and requirements. Determine the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs. 6. Train and mentor more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues elevated from staff. Provide guidance and consultation as required. Update, write, and maintain documentation for the department. 7. Administer system activities. Write the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Perform system analysis, including system requirements analysis, definition, and logical design. 8. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. 9. May telecommute in line with Company policy (hybrid role).

Requirements:

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Cloud Engineer, Specialist-related occupation.
