Applies intuitive and professional understanding of industryrelevant Data Science, Analytics and Machine Learning technology and frameworks to build innovative solutions leveraging the latest advancements in cloud computing. Works closely in collaboration with other functional areas such as decision science, product design, and other enterprise teams and business partners. Extensive knowledge in data engineering and machine learning frameworks including design, development and implementation of highly complex systems and data pipelines. Extensive knowledge in Information Systems including design, development and implementation of large batch or online transaction-based systems. Experience providing leadership in a general planning or consulting setting. Experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-function project teams. Strong oral and written communication skills.Supervises:
Software Developers. Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of equivalent work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent• in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or 6 years of equivalent work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, simulation development and/or predictive analytics, in lieu of a Master's degree plus 4 years of experience.Experience must include the following:
Implementation of measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, simulation development and/or predictive analytics; Use of data engineering and machine learning frameworks including design, development and implementation of highly complex systems and data pipelines; design including design, development and implementation of large batch or online transaction-based systems; Strong understanding of the transportation industry, competitors, and evolving technologies; Evaluation and implementation of best practices, tools and processes for web-based application software, APIs, data access and analysis, including large data sets. Extensive knowledge in product engineering and machine learning frameworks including design, development and implementation of highly complex systems and data pipelines. Extensive knowledge in Information Systems including design, development and implementation of large batch or online transaction-based systems. Experience providing leadership in a general planning or consulting setting. Experience as a leader or a senior member of multi-function project teams. Strong oral and written communication skills. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. •Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. This position is eligible for telecommuting and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories.
