Braun Medical, visit Position Overview The Infrastructure Tech Spec II - Infrastructure & Cloud Services is an experienced technical contributor within B. Braun IT, responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise infrastructure platforms that support Aesculap, Inc. and B. Braun regulated healthcare environments. This role applies to solid technical knowledge to support infrastructure initiatives, system stability, and compliance activities across on-premises and cloud environments. Working under the guidance of senior technical leadership, the position focuses on executing assigned tasks, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to infrastructure improvements that ensure reliable and secure operations in alignment with GxP and regulatory requirements. The candidate will primarily support Aesculap, Inc., a B. Braun company, along with broader B. Braun infrastructure environments. Key Areas of Responsibility Infrastructure, Cloud & Backup Operations Support Support Azure and enterprise infrastructure environments, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations Assist with cloud and on-premises platforms such as VMware, Commvault, and related infrastructure systems Help provision and maintain compute, storage, networking, and hybrid workloads Perform routine backup and recovery activities in accordance with established policies and requirements Support day-to-day infrastructure operations, including system monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle activities Troubleshoot system issues, support incident resolution, and escalate as needed Assist with documentation, system analysis, and adherence to IT standards and processes Collaboration & Technical Support Work with Aesculap business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to support infrastructure needs and issue resolution Contribute to IT projects and initiatives by completing assigned technical tasks Provide technical support for infrastructure-related requests and systems Participate in system monitoring and operational support activities Job Function - General Apply technical knowledge to support implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure systems Execute assigned tasks across infrastructure initiatives, including deployment, testing, and operational support Maintain documentation and follow established processes to ensure compliance with B. Braun IT and regulatory standards Participate in audits, inspections, and validation activities as required Education & Professional Knowledge Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required Experience 5+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience required Experience supporting enterprise IT environments preferred Experience in regulated environments (GxP, validation, compliance) preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft platforms (Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory) and VMware environments Working knowledge of backup and recovery solutions such as Commvault and integration with cloud storage platforms Understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure concepts, including compute, storage, networking, and identity management Familiarity with regulated environments, including validation, compliance, and audit requirements Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and system-related issues and support technical solutions Effective communication and collaboration skills across IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders Supervision Given and Received Works under general direction with guidance from senior technical leadership No direct people management responsibilities Responsible for completing assigned tasks and contributing to team deliverables Additional Requirements Occasional business travel may be required Availability to work non-standard schedules and participate in on-call support rotations The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
