ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking an IT Systems Architect for a full-time role with one of our Pharmacy clients. Our client is undergoing a period of rapid technology transformation, including implementing LifeFile as their enterprise Pharmacy Management System. They are seeking this Systems Architect to play a key role in implementing, standing up and mapping the data for this new LifeFile platform, as well as designing and implementing the APIs to connect all enterprise systems together. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the Pharmacy or broader Healthcare Industry, with hands-on experience in at least one major Pharmacy Management System like PK RX, Lifefile, QS/1, BestRx, Pharmetika, ElectricLab, etc. Additionally, this individual needs to have experience in building and managing API connections between clinical systems and other enterprise platforms
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Playing a key role in planning, overseeing and managing the implementation of the LifeFile Pharmacy Management System Leading the data migration from legacy Pharmacy Management systems over to the new LifeFIle platform Designing, building, and maintaining API integrations across internal systems and third-party partners Managing systems documentation as it pertains to data flows and API-type (Internal, composite, Synchronous, Asynchronous, etc) Designing and Implementing event-driven APIs (webhooks) and automation workflows to drive real-time data connections between systems, and eliminate manual processes / redundancies Managing / owning role-based access control (RBAC) across all IT Platforms. Serving as the point of contact for managing all current and future state business systems
  • LifeFile, PK RX, CRM, Supply Chain & Manufacturing systems Identifying gaps, redundancies, and underutilized capabilities within the current stack of systems and delivering actionable recommendations to executive leadership Leading the evaluation of new technology, and helping drive the enterprise technology roadmap
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
7-10+ years total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Systems Engineer / Architect capacity Substantial experience in the Pharmacy or greater Healthcare industry. Must have experience building and supporting Pharmacy Management Systems and Pharmacy data. Hands-on experience building and managing APIs Strong IT infrastructure fundamentals•

PREFERRED SKILLS
