IT Systems Engineer - MSP Projects

Spot Migration is an MSP on the hunt for a Tier 3 IT Systems Engineer who's not just great at tech, but is also ready to bring some fun to our tight-knit team of IT heroes.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and success of our clients' IT environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

IT Project Crusher:

Plan, lead, and execute a variety of IT projects, ensuring timely and smooth completion.

Critical Issue Resolution:

Troubleshoot complex IT issues, perform root cause analysis, and solve the problem for good. No band-aid fixes!

Documentation Sensei:

Meticulously document troubleshooting steps, client processes, and IT infrastructure to maintain up-to-date and accurate records.

Mentorship:

Help make the team great by sharing your wisdom and mentoring junior team members.

Client Superhero:

Deliver top-notch customer service with patience and a smile, making our clients feel like the VIPs they are.

On-Call Rotation:

Participate in the on-call rotation- don't worry though, it's minimal as our support desk team is 24/7 and is the first line of support. What Makes You a

Great Fit:

Server Master:

Setup, migrate and troubleshoot of all kinds of servers, such as Domain Controllers, DNS & DHCP, Active Directory, File, App, P2V, etc

Data & Email Migrations:

Experience in migrating data to SharePoint and completing email migrations to Microsoft 365.

Active Directory & Intune:

Pro at creating and troubleshooting Active Directory GPOs, Intune setup and management, and Entra sync troubleshooting.

Network Security:

Proficient in Firewall and Site-to-Site VPN setup and troubleshooting. Previous MSP experience is a must (because you know the drill) Oh, and you're cool showing up in Oak Brook or at our client offices when necessary.
