Job Description

Role Summary This role involves managing and maintaining enterprise endpoint management systems, with a focus on MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) and Adaptiva environments. The position requires technical expertise in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal performance and security compliance across the organization. It is suitable for a seasoned professional with extensive experience supporting large-scale enterprise or defense environments. Responsibilities Implement, configure, and optimize MECM environments for enterprise endpoint management. Maintain and support Adaptiva OneSite for efficient content distribution and endpoint performance. Develop, test, and deploy software packages, updates, and patches utilizing MECM and Adaptiva solutions. Create and maintain task sequences for automated operating system deployments and upgrades. Ensure endpoint devices comply with organizational security policies and industry standards. Troubleshoot MECM and Adaptiva-related issues, including client health, content distribution, and system errors. Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to streamline endpoint management processes. Document configurations, deployment procedures, and operational protocols thoroughly. Generate reports and analyze data related to software deployment, compliance, and system health metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and security measures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or leading MECM and Adaptiva projects in large enterprise or defense sectors. This position requires eligibility for a U.S. Government security clearance. In accordance with federal law, U.S. citizenship is required. ( Active Secret clearance required). Certification in DoD 8570 IAT Level II, such as Security+ CE or CySA+. Extensive hands-on experience managing MECM environments in enterprise settings. Proven experience integrating Adaptiva solutions with MECM for optimized content delivery. Strong knowledge of Windows Server platforms (2012-2025), Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS. Experience with Windows imaging, task sequences, and driver management. Proficiency in virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. Expertise in PowerShell scripting and automation techniques. Skilled in creating comprehensive documentation for configurations and operational procedures.
Publishing Pay Range:
$48.00 - $50.00 hourly This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
