This position is on track to become a Director of Platform Operations or Head of Platform Engineering. About the Role We are seeking a Manager of Platform Operations to lead the reliability, operations, and infrastructure strategy for the Evoke platform. This role is responsible for overseeing platform stability, release management processes, and operational excellence across our SaaS environment. This individual will lead a small but high-impact team responsible for platform reliability, DevOps practices, infrastructure optimization (performance and cost management), security compliance (SOC 2, GovRAMP, etc.), and large-scale data operations. The role requires a balance of leadership and hands-on technical understanding, with a focus on building scalable systems, improving operational processes, and enabling engineering teams to deliver efficiently and reliably. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, and Delivery teams to ensure that the platform operates with high availability, strong performance, and alignment with compliance and customer expectations. What You'll Do Define and enforce platform reliability standards, including uptime, performance, and incident response expectations Lead incident management processes, including coordination, communication, and post-incident reviews Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability practices across the platform Drive continuous improvement of operational processes and system stability Release Management and DevOps Oversight Oversee release processes, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments across environments Partner with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows Ensure proper version control, testing, and rollback strategies are in place Align release management practices with platform scalability and growth Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Coordination Lead and mentor a team of engineers and analysts across operations, DevOps, and data functions Collaborate with Product Engineering, QA, and Delivery teams to align priorities and execution Act as an escalation point for complex technical and operational issues Balance competing priorities across reliability, compliance, and delivery needs Security and Compliance Management Partner with security resources to ensure compliance (SOC 2, Gov

RAMP, NIST

800-53, etc.), monitoring, and reporting obligations are met Ensure operational processes align with security and compliance standards Own security audits for the Evoke platform, including audit readiness and remediation efforts Data Operations Oversight Oversee large-scale data migration and data operation efforts Ensure data integrity, performance, and validation processes are in place Partner with project teams to support customer implementations and data needs We will consider qualified candidates for fully remote work (must reside in the U.S. only).

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of cloud-native SaaS platforms (Azure preferred) Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management Proven experience leading security compliance initiatives (SOC 2 and/or GovRAMP with GovTech experience preferred) Ability to lead incident response and operational processes Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight Experience working in Agile development environments Required 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform operations 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role Demonstrated experience with security requirements, frameworks, and audits Experience managing production SaaS environments Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud infrastructure, and deployment systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) Why Join Us?
