Monitoring & Command Center Engineer

The Monitoring & Command Center Engineer will play a critical role in assessing, enhancing, and scaling the organization's monitoring capabilities—ensuring full system visibility and operational readiness ahead of peak season. The team oversees various warehouses and locations acting as the central hub for production issue response, user requests, and location-generated incidents.

Job Description:

SolarWinds Orion Administration:

Strong experience administering and managing the SolarWinds Orion platform Expertise in system monitoring setup, alert configuration, and performance optimization Ability to onboard new systems, validate monitoring coverage, and ensure alert accuracy\ Enterprise Monitoring & Alerting Experience configuring and validating alerts for CPU, memory, disk, and system health Ability to test and fine-tune alert thresholds across environments Infrastructure Monitoring (Windows/Linux/Unix Environments) Broad knowledge of monitoring infrastructure systems across corporate and distribution environments Nagios (Preferred) Experience with Nagios monitoring tools in Linux/Unix environments Ability to collaborate with Linux/Unix teams supporting Nagios infrastructure Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
