Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a NoSQL Redis DBA for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ(Hybrid) . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Rate Range:
$65-73/Hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced NoSQL Redis DBA to design, deploy, and maintain highly available NoSQL database clusters on Linux systems supporting multiple application teams. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in distributed databases, Linux administration, automation, and production support. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage highly available NoSQL database clusters in Linux environments Administer and support distributed databases such as Redis and Cassandra Maintain multiple environments (Development, QA, Production) with strong operational discipline Perform performance tuning, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting Provide production support and ensure high availability and reliability of database platforms Automate operational tasks using shell scripting and Ansible Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployments and environment management Implement backup, recovery, patching, and security best practices Required Skills & Experience Strong experience as a Redis / NoSQL DBA Hands-on expertise with distributed NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis, Cassandra, CockroachDB, MemSQL) Advanced Linux/Unix administration skills Strong shell scripting for automation Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools Solid understanding of production support, monitoring, and incident management Experience managing multiple database environments (Dev, QA, Prod) Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation If you are interested in this role, then please click
