Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Platform Solutions Engineer to support a leading engineering consulting organization's Digital Services Platform team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise platform solutions across a Microsoft-heavy environment. This individual will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives including platform modernization, ITSM implementation, and system integrations as the organization transitions from legacy PaaS solutions to modern SaaS-based platforms in Azure. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who thrives in ambiguous environments, takes full ownership of projects, and can independently drive solutions from concept through execution. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will work cross-functionally with development teams, support teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems engineering, or related roles
Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Active Directory (admin level)
Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, identity management)
Proven experience owning and supporting enterprise platforms or system implementations
Experience with or exposure to ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.)
Understanding of ITIL processes / service management best practices
Strong experience creating technical documentation and SOPs
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Exposure to Power BI or reporting tools
Experience with API integrations or system integrations
Background in workflow automation or AI-driven process improvements
Experience supporting platform migrations (PaaS to SaaS, legacy to cloud)
