Senior AI Software Systems Engineer

Buildable AI is building a next-generation AI system that turns simple prompts into full production-ready apps and websites. We're pushing the limits of real-time code generation, editing systems, and autonomous development workflows. Role Overview We're looking for a AI Software Systems Engineer to help design and improve our core orchestration systems. You'll work directly on systems that generate, edit, and validate real-world applications using AI. What You'll Do Build and improve AI-driven code generation + editing systems Work on orchestration pipelines, tool execution, and validation systems Debug complex system failures across multi-step workflows Optimize reliability Collaborate on system architecture and performance improvements Requirements 2-3 years of software engineering experience Strong skills in TypeScript, React, or backend systems Experience with APIs, distributed systems, or real-time systems Comfortable working with AI tools / LLM-powered workflows High ownership mindset (you figure things out fast) Nice to Have Experience with AI/LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Experience with systems like Supabase, Vite, or modern full-stack tooling Startup experience or building products from scratch
