Senior Platform Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Sr. Platform Engineer, you will own and evolve Fisher's Azure data and analytics platform to support enterprise reporting and data delivery. You'll guide architectural standards, mentor developers, and coordinate cross‑team cloud data solutions. This role shapes capacity, performance, and security for a growing, globally distributed business. You'll work closely with business and technology partners to enable data‑driven decision making and scalable analytics.

Compensation / Benefits

• Own and enhance the Azure data and analytics platform from implementation to operations
• Provide technical direction to database and application developers
• Design and implement cloud data solutions across enterprise architecture, identity, access management, and data management
• Develop cloud security, access control policies, data and BI standards
• Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and monitor data warehouse and BI platforms
• Conduct capacity planning, cloud cost analysis, and optimization recommendations
• Provide after-hours system and application support
• Prepare and communicate project work plans and status reports Tasks
• 8+ years of experience in software and data solutions for enterprise environments
• Experience with Azure data and analytics technologies (Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Power BI)
• Infrastructure/Cloud admin and automation knowledge (Terraform)
• DevOps experience (GitHub Actions, PowerShell)
• Application development experience with Microsoft/cloud tech (SQL, Azure, C#, Python)
• Experience with Machine Learning, MLOps
• Experience with Agile methodologies in cloud/data/BI space
• BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field Key requirements
