Job Description

Experteer Overview Senior Platform Engineer to design, implement, and govern Fisher Investments' Azure data and analytics platform. You will guide architectural principles, support BI and data delivery teams, and oversee data warehouse workloads across a large tech ecosystem. The role combines hands-on development with leadership, ensuring capacity, security, and scalable analytics solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise priorities while driving transformation in data-driven decision making.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Analyze how data warehouse, analytics, and applications meet business goals with partners
  • Own Azure data/analytics platform from implementation to operations and enhancements
  • Design and coordinate cloud data/app solutions across enterprise architecture, development, IAM, networking, and data management
  • Provide technical direction to database and application developers
  • Develop cloud security, access control, and BI standards and guidelines
  • Troubleshoot data warehouse/BI platforms and resolve issues
  • Monitor logs, identify improvements for smooth operations
  • Perform capacity planning and cloud cost optimization with management Tasks
  • 8+ years in software/data solution development for enterprise environments (data, cloud, analytics)
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI
  • IaC and cloud administration/automation experience (Terraform)
  • DevOps in application development (GitHub Actions, Powershell)
  • Application development using Microsoft/cloud tech (SQL, Azure, C#, Python)
  • Experience with Machine Learning and MLOps
  • Experience with Agile methodologies in cloud/data/BI spaces
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent Key requirements
