AIQIP Inc. is hiring a Sr. ServiceNow Techno-Functional Consultant for enterprise implementations. This role combines technical delivery and business consulting to design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with client needs.

Hybrid remote in Tarrytown, NY 10591 Eligibility Candidates must be based in NY, NJ, or PA or willing to relocate immediately, who can go to work on-site for 3 days/week . No exceptions. Role Summary The ServiceNow CMDB Governance Lead is responsible for defining, enforcing, and continuously improving governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure a healthy, accurate, and compliant Configuration Management Database within the ServiceNow platform. This role drives data quality initiatives, ensures alignment with the Common Service Data Model, and supports enterprise service management across Information Technology Service Management and Information Technology Operations Management functions. Key Responsibilities Governance Framework Define and maintain CMDB governance policies, standards, procedures, and operating models including configuration control boards and ownership structures. Establish governance forums and ensure adherence to industry best practices and ServiceNow guidelines. Data Quality and Compliance Drive data quality initiatives through normalization, reconciliation, certification workflows, and ongoing monitoring of CMDB health metrics such as completeness, correctness, and compliance. Conduct audits and lead remediation efforts to address duplicate, orphaned, or stale configuration items. Architecture and Modeling Align CMDB structure with the Common Service Data Model to support service-aware architecture. Define configuration item classes, attributes, and relationships to support enterprise processes. Collaborate with Discovery, Service Mapping, and integration teams to ensure accurate and automated population of data. Stakeholder Management Define roles and responsibilities for configuration item owners, data stewards, and service owners. Lead workshops and training sessions on CMDB governance and best practices. Communicate governance updates, performance metrics, and remediation progress to leadership and stakeholders. Tools and Automation Leverage ServiceNow capabilities such as CMDB Workspace, Health Dashboard, Discovery, and Service Mapping to improve visibility and control. Implement automated validation, reconciliation, and certification processes to enhance data accuracy and reduce manual effort. Required Qualifications Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Information Technology Service Management or Information Technology Operations Management environments, with at least 4 years of focused experience in CMDB governance or management. Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and the Common Service Data Model. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required, and additional Certified Implementation Specialist certifications are preferred. Experience in data governance, normalization, reconciliation, audit processes, and health metric reporting is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills and must be authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Skills Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or finance with compliance and audit requirements. Familiarity with integration patterns between CMDB and external enterprise systems. Knowledge of automation and reconciliation strategies to improve data quality and efficiency. Success Metrics Achieve high levels of CMDB completeness and accuracy, reduce duplicate and orphaned configuration items, and improve operational outcomes through reliable CMDB data. Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and audit requirements.
