Job Title:
Software Development Specialist Advisor Duties:
 Design and develop platform experience systems for private cloud computing environments. Define strategy and build infrastructure to support application development in cloud-native ecosystems. Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Architect and implement distributed systems using container technologies like Kubernetes. Utilize cloud-native platforms such as OpenShift to manage and deploy scalable applications. Apply expertise in microservices and cloud technologies to build resilient and modular systems. Manage operational roles including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices. Work with Linux-based systems, including software packaging, distribution, and configuration. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams. Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities and developer experience. deployments of ML models and AI workloads in Kubernetes environment. Optimize container workloads (HPA/VPA) service mesh (ISTIO) and advanced Kubernetes scheduling. Perform cost optimization. Travel to various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
