Job Description:
Join a technology-driven organization building a cloud-native, API-powered platform that has disrupted the industry. As a Production Support Team Lead, you will guide a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and business analysts focused on maintaining and improving production stability. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on problem solving, requiring you to prioritize and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with domain experts and sprint teams to prevent recurrence. You will play a key role in improving system reliability, influencing quality standards, and driving proactive processes that identify issues before they reach production.
Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day activities of a cross-functional Production Support team, removing roadblocks and driving prioritization of critical issues. Ensure timely resolution of production incidents, coordinating with domain experts and other teams when needed. Perform root cause analysis on high-impact issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to strengthen testing practices and improve release quality. Partner with senior leaders to develop processes and tools that proactively identify issues before deployment. Provide mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Contribute to organizational improvements around architecture, development practices, and overall system reliability. Support hiring efforts and help build a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies. 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business analysts. Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience within production environments. Experience designing enterprise-level systems including RESTful APIs, integrations, and complex business processes. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), including serverless, data storage, messaging, and logging. Experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple Agile teams.
