05/29/2026 3 months contract to start and is renewable Rate 70-90 w2 no benefit 1-2 round of interview 3 days in office in Issaquah, WA Senior Backend / AI Platform Engineer Mainz Brady Group is seeking a Senior Backend / AI Platform Engineer to help build scalable AI-driven backend systems and autonomous agent platforms. This role focuses on modern microservices architecture, LLM integrations, semantic retrieval, and distributed AI orchestration in high-availability cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices Build AI/LLM integrations, agent workflows, and semantic retrieval systems Develop event-driven, containerized, and serverless architectures Implement secure REST/gRPC APIs and distributed orchestration frameworks Support CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code deployments Required Qualifications 5+ years of backend software engineering experience Experience with APIs, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud-native systems Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, or AI orchestration frameworks Strong knowledge of Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and event-driven systems Understanding of OAuth2, CI/CD, Terraform, and scalable distributed systems
