Job Description

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Sr Architect - Front End, based in Denver, Co. The role is Hybrid with 3 days onsite each week. About the Role We are seeking a Senior Architect to drive architecture initiatives across a modern, customer-facing technology platform. This role is responsible for owning architectural challenges end-to-end and influencing how engineering teams design, build, deploy, and scale software solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a hands-on approach, helping shape architecture standards while remaining actively involved in implementation. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily workflow and help establish best practices for their adoption across the engineering organization. This position focuses heavily on front-end architecture, platform design, shared frameworks, and the patterns that enable engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable products efficiently. Key Responsibilities Architecture Leadership
  • Define and drive front-end architecture strategy across multiple engineering teams.
  • Establish standards for web and mobile platforms, shared component libraries, design systems, state management, and API integration patterns.
  • Lead architectural decision-making and ensure consistency across products and teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on complex technical initiatives. Hands-On Technical Contributions
  • Develop prototypes and reference implementations that establish architectural direction.
  • Contribute code to critical platform components and foundational systems.
  • Partner with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges and improve platform capabilities.
  • Support the design and implementation of scalable front-end solutions. Engineering Excellence
  • Establish best practices around accessibility, performance, observability, maintainability, and developer experience.
  • Mentor engineers and technical leaders on architectural principles and software design.
  • Help mature engineering processes and platform governance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to balance technical and business priorities. AI-Enabled Development
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Help define how AI can be effectively incorporated into design, development, testing, and documentation workflows.
  • Promote best practices for responsible and efficient AI adoption across engineering teams. Required Experience
  • 7+ years of experience building and delivering production software solutions.
  • At least 3 years of experience in architecture-focused roles, platform engineering, technical leadership, or system design.
  • Proven success establishing technical direction across multiple teams or products.
  • Experience leading architecture reviews and mentoring engineers. Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar technologies.
  • Deep understanding of front-end architecture, component systems, state management, and data-fetching patterns.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, domain-driven design, and scalable system architecture.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs within distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and development workflows. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience owning or scaling design systems and shared component libraries.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as C# and .NET.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and onboarding technical talent.
  • Experience leading platform modernization initiatives, large-scale migrations, or architectural transformations.
  • Experience working within financial services, payments, fintech, or other regulated industries. Desired Attributes

  • Ability to explain complex architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation depends on experience but is typically 110-160k
