Job Summary Responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of cloud-based infrastructure and services, with emphasis on Microsoft Azure. This role supports the design, implementation, and operation of cloud environments, ensures system reliability and performance, and contributes to the advancement of enterprise cloud capabilities. Essential Functions Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure environments Implement and manage core Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure-native tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud) Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity efforts Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate Experience with hybrid environments (on premises + Azure) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure ecosystems Exposure to cost optimization and FinOps practices Qualifications - External Education Bachelor's Degree Information Systems or related field (Required) Licenses/Certifications None Specified Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture Required Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, subnets, NSGs, load balancing) Required Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash Required Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Required Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments Required Experience 3-5 years experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or a related role (Required) Prior Experience with Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI and Copilot 360. (Required) Prior Experience with identity and access management, particularly Azure Active Directory (Required) Prior Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) (Required) Additional Qualifications Clarification Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture (Required proficiency) Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPNs, subnets, NSGs, load balancing) (Required proficiency) Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash (Required proficiency) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Required proficiency) Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments (Required proficiency)
