Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently hiring a Sr. Systems/Software Engineer to support our global software client in Boise, ID. The primary responsibility of this position will be to work with the Engineering/Test team to create tests and strategies for Comon Criteria Certification. The position requires a strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security. This is a full-time position with Monday-Friday day shift hours. This is a hybrid schedule with the current onsite requirement of 2-3 days per week; please note this is subject to change at any time based upon client requirements. You also must reside locally to the client-site in Boise, Idaho.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Verifying printer configurations. Writing automated test scripts. Executing various test types. Contributing to test engineering strategy for Comon Criteria Certification. May be asked to help create engineering level documentation required for printer certification. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include the following: Ability to communicate with HP customer, third party test labs and HP developers. Ability to produce detailed and precise documents needed for certification review.

Testing skills to include:

Test writing that verifies strict conformance to high level industry standard. Experience writing automated tests on C# and Python environments. High level test review to verify and characterize defects for HP development teams. Experience with test execution planning and scheduling. MFP knowledge at a test engineer level of the following: Knowledge of MFP functions and features. Knowledge of MFP design and development process. Knowledge of MFP testing processes including security vulnerability and penetration testing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Common Criteria Certification Program. Experience writing test scripts against HP printer firmware (DUNE).
