Job Description

Systems Engineer (W2 only)
Location:
Westlake, TX (Hybrid)
Introduction:
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for planning and leading hardware migrations, OS patches, upgrades across Linux and Windows server farm. They will also be involved in writing Shell scripts for process automations, installing and managing various server applications, and working with key Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong background in infrastructure architecture.
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead hardware migrations, OS patches, and upgrades across Linux and Windows server farm Write Shell scripts using ksh, bash, and perl for process automations Install and manage Apache Server, Tomcat, and WebSphere Administration Manage SSL Keys/Certificate Management and load balancer configuration Work with key Cloud technologies such as S3, IAM, VPC, Cloud Front, etc. Administer pod and Kubernetes clusters Assist with Docker containerization and migration of applications to cloud environments Architect infrastructure for App/Web/Batch applications in on-prem and Hybrid Cloud environments Set up applications for automated deployment using tools like Jenkins Participate in release management, change management, and incident management processes
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in a related field 6+ years of experience in systems engineering Experience with Amazon S3, Apache Tomcat, Kubernetes, Load Balancing, Jenkins, and Terraform Experience in writing Shell scripts using ksh, bash, and perl Experience with SSL Keys/Certificate Management and load balancer configuration Knowledge of Cloud technologies and containerization Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with release management, change management, and incident management
