W2 We are looking for a skilled Observability Operations Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing observability platforms, system performance, and reliability.Key Skills:
- Linux System Administration
- Kubernetes & Docker (Container Platforms)
- Elasticsearch (Configuration, Scaling, Performance Tuning)
- Networking Concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing)
- ITSM Processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Preferred Skills:
- Observability Concepts (Metrics, Logging, Monitoring, Distributed Tracing)
- OpenTelemetry / OpenTracing
Tools:
Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Kafka, Jaeger- Rancher (Nice to have)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Linux-based infrastructure and containerized environments
- Administer and optimize large-scale Elasticsearch clusters
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across infrastructure and observability stack
- Ensure platform stability, high availability, and performance optimization
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes
- Collaborate with SRE and platform engineering teams to improve observability
- Assist in deployments, upgrades, and operational governance
- Drive automation and operational efficiency improvements
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in system administration / observability engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernet
