4 We are hiring a Technology Analyst - Kubernetes / Observability Engineer.
Location:
Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid)
Duration:
6 Months
Contract:
W2 We are looking for a skilled Observability Operations Engineer with strong expertise in Linux systems, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing observability platforms, system performance, and reliability.
Key Skills:
  • Linux System Administration
  • Kubernetes & Docker (Container Platforms)
  • Elasticsearch (Configuration, Scaling, Performance Tuning)
  • Networking Concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing)
  • ITSM Processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
Preferred Skills:
  • Observability Concepts (Metrics, Logging, Monitoring, Distributed Tracing)
  • OpenTelemetry / OpenTracing
Tools:
Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Kafka, Jaeger
  • Rancher (Nice to have)
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support Linux-based infrastructure and containerized environments
  • Administer and optimize large-scale Elasticsearch clusters
  • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across infrastructure and observability stack
  • Ensure platform stability, high availability, and performance optimization
  • Support incident, change, and problem management processes
  • Collaborate with SRE and platform engineering teams to improve observability
  • Assist in deployments, upgrades, and operational governance
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency improvements
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in system administration / observability engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernet
