Job Description
Imagine Your Impact From our Newark, NY site, you'll be the link between our products and the suppliers who help build them.
Your purpose:
make sure every supplier process aligns to the quality bar our customers expect—then help raise that bar even higher. A Day in the Role Review, evaluate, and approve supplier quality systems and procedures to confirm they meet our standards. Plan and conduct on-site and remote supplier audits and assessments, documenting findings and follow-up actions. Work side-by-side with suppliers to troubleshoot issues, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Track supplier performance indicators and translate trends into concrete continuous-improvement feedback. Create and maintain quality documentation such as inspection plans, checklists, and formal reports. Partner with cross-functional teams to support new product development and launches, ensuring quality requirements are built in from the start. Coach supplier teams on expectations, methods, and best practices to strengthen their quality capabilities. Keep current with industry standards and regulatory expectations related to supplier quality and incorporate learnings into our approach. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a closely related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in supplier quality engineering or an equivalent quality role. Working knowledge of quality management systems and methods (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma). Exceptional analytical thinking, statistical literacy, and structured problem-solving. Clear, persuasive communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency with quality tools and software, including statistical analysis applications.
