ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Integration Technician to join our team working on the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) program. The Integration Technician will play a key role in ensuring the seamless installation, troubleshooting, and testing of advanced systems on USMC vehicles, contributing directly to the success of this critical defense project. This position requires a professional with a strong technical aptitude, hands-on experience with hardware installations, and a collaborative mindset for working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
System Installation:
Follow detailed written instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings to install CAC2S equipment on USMC vehicles. Effectively utilize tools, hardware, and equipment to ensure secure and accurate installations. Maintain attention to detail to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:
Perform on-site troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues encountered during the integration and deintegration processes. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to implement appropriate fixes and prevent recurrence of issues.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree in
Engineering Technology, Computer Technology, or Computer Science:
Fourteen (14) years of practical experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance. Eight (8) years of experience, to include: installation of such equipment. Four (4) years of experience, to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Eight (8) years of experience in C4ISR Projects discipline, of which 5 must have been performed within the last 7 years. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and main a public trust clearance.
