Job Requirements North Charleston, SC Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Overview Bowhead seeks a Mission Integrator to join our team supporting NIWC Atlantic. The Mission Integrator will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program analysts within a scaled agile environment. This position is 100% onsite. No hybrid/flex or remote work schedules are permitted for this effort. Responsibilities
    Mission Task Development:
    Proactively support Mission Architects in the development and refinement of Mission Tasks (MT) and Mission Engineering Threads (METs).
      Doctrine-Driven Insights:
      Gather and analyze authoritative doctrine/information to architect and model Naval and adversary operational capabilities, missions, and systems within projected operational environments.
        Information Management:
        Develop and submit formal Requests for Information (RFIs) across the needed operational communities to support analysis.
          Doctrinal Analysis:
          Collaborate with Mission Architects and Warfare Analysts to identify and adjudicate gaps, inconsistencies, and required changes within architectures and helps to establish founded assumptions.
            Threat Baseline and Conditions Analysis:
            Identify and synthesize threat baselines and other relevant threat conditions and completes logical next step analysis in order to understand and model the impacts of those threats.
              Integrated Assessment Support:
              Support the integrated assessment of Mission Threads and Mission Engineering Threads
                Mentorship:
                Provides mentorship and guidance to other team members, with a particular focus on areas of operational expertise and the effective use of authoritative data sources.
                • Support the engineering lifecycle, bridging requirements, design, integration, test, and fielding of mission-critical systems.
                • Translate mission and user requirements into system architecture, interface definitions, and technical solutions.
                • Interface with program management, government stakeholders, and external partners/subcontractors; provide status, technical updates, and escalate issues as needed.
                • Share mission engineering best practices and lessons learned.
                • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
                • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
                • Minimum 7 years of experience.
                • Demonstrated ability to work on mission-critical programs with elevated reliability, performance, and operability demands.
                • Experience interfacing with DoD customers, contractors, or government agencies; understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle preferred.
                • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and presentation skills.
                • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage complexity, and drive technical closure in fast-paced environments.
                USMC Expertise:
                In-depth knowledge of
                USMC MAGTF
                structure, processes, and systems, including Dynamic Targeting, Airspace Allocation, Intelligence Gathering, Tasking Orders, Joint C2, and Joint Integration.
                  Intelligence & Doctrine Analysis:
                  Proficiency in uncovering and analyzing information related to doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), weapons systems, and adversary threats.
                    Operational Acumen:
                    A comprehensive understanding of the Joint, Navy, and USMC operational context and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) as they relate to mission execution.
                      Professional Attributes:
                      Demonstrates a proactive and dependable work ethic. Possesses the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and the diligence to see complex tasks through to completion.
                        Systems Awareness:
                        Ideally should be aware of various Intel and C2 systems as used by the Navy and/or USMC (optional)
                        SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
                        Must currently hold a Secret clearance or higher.
                        Physical Demands:
                        • Must be able to lift, move, and position equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments, including on uneven or natural surfaces.
                        • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
                        • Must be able to lean, crouch, twist, bend, and squat as needed to inspect or analyze network infrastructure.
                        • Must be able to work outdoors in deployed environments and perform duties in adverse weather conditions, including cold, rain, snow, and heat.
