systems, Fires systems, and Naval/Joint C2/Fires systems Executing SCAP/Nessus/ACAS scans during integration activities; analyzing scan results, supporting remediation actions, and verifying closure of vulnerabilities in coordination with the cybersecurity engineering team Supporting maintenance of authorized software baselines by applying security patches, updates, and configuration changes in alignment with the system's ATO and RMF artifacts Developing and maintaining STPs, test procedures, and test reports for each software build and system release, capturing standardized results, test configurations, and defect status for Government review Producing and updating technical documentation including software installation guides, build plans, build lists, version descriptions, configuration/user guides, and baseline comparison matrices Reproducing, thoroughly documenting, and tracking defects discovered during integration and test events, including clear steps to reproduce, logs, and environment details Collaborating closely with software developers, systems engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to analyze root cause, verify corrective actions, and retest fixes as part of regression testing Supporting configuration management activities for integration and test artifacts, ensuring accurate status accounting of software loads, configurations, and test results in CMPro and other program repositories #LI-TF1 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a regionally accredited institution At least seven years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance, including integration of network operating systems, applications, and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance support Demonstrated experience integrating and validating complex tactical or intelligence systems, including: Hands-on experience configuring, securing, and maintaining Windows and Linux-based test environments using VMs to simulate targeted operational baselines, including installation of fully compliant IA software and support for ongoing developmental/functional testing Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, including application of DISA STIGs, patching, and vulnerability management in support of RMF Experience using SCAP, Nessus, and/or ACAS to test system configurations against DoD cybersecurity requirements and document results for accreditation and ATO support Experience contributing to and/or developing technical documentation such as test plans, test reports, installation procedures, software installation guides, SBL, and configuration/user Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively with systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and Government stakeholders in a structured, mission-critical environment Ability to brief test status, issues, and risks to Government technical leads, and to document and track action items and findings Desired Skills Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline More than 10 years of experience supporting DoD C5ISR, intelligence, or tactical communications programs, ideally with NIWC Atlantic or Marine Corps Systems Command Familiarity with TAK/WinTAK/ATAK, biometric/exploitation tools, and C5ISR integration with Naval and Joint C2/Fires systems Experience working within Agile/SCRUM environments, supporting sprint test planning, execution, and build/release demonstrations Prior support to TEMP development, test documentation (plans, procedures, reports), and participation in T&E WIPTs and TRBs Clearance Information
