Sr Cloud Engineer

Manage and implement assigned cloud and infrastructure projects according to defined scope, timelines, and quality standards. Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud foundations and landing zones, primarily in Microsoft Azure, with transferable patterns across other cloud providers. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to application teams and internal stakeholders throughout cloud adoption and modernization efforts. Perform assessments of existing infrastructure and applications to determine cloud readiness and modernization strategies. Collaborate with engineers and solution architects to recommend appropriate technologies including WAN/LAN networking, security controls, identity, storage, and compute. Implement solutions involving advanced networking, virtualization, storage, Windows Server, and cloud-native services. Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines. Identify issues in new or existing cloud environments and develop remediation, optimization, and implementation plans. Participate in Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement. Continuously develop technical skills through hands-on work, training, and participation in company-sponsored learning activities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions in Azure or comparable cloud platforms. 4+ years of experience across cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, SRE, or application development roles. Strong experience automating infrastructure provisioning and delivery using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation practices. Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar. Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or C#. Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking, IAM, and security best practices. Professional English proficiency (C1/C2). Experience with native cloud provisioning tools (ARM, CloudFormation) or multi-cloud IaC tools such as Pulumi. Experience supporting application modernization or migration initiatives. Exposure to containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
