Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team and help contribute to our scalable internal developer platform. As a key member of our engineering org, you won't just be "fixing things"—you'll be designing the infrastructure that empowers our entire software platform and application suite. Our ideal candidate is someone who views Infrastructure as Code (IaC) as a standard, not an afterthought, and is deeply comfortable working within the Kubernetes ecosystem. ‎
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Architect & Automate:
Design and maintain high-availability clusters and CI/CD pipelines. Own the
Lifecycle:
Take the lead on specific technical areas (e.g., process automation, refactors, or chart layout) and drive them to completion.
Collaborate:
Draft clear documentation for designs and processes, ensuring stakeholders and teammates are aligned.
Culture Add:
Actively contribute to our team's engineering standards and culture of technical excellence. ‎
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Must-Haves Kubernetes Mastery:
Advanced knowledge of K8s distributions ( EKS, AKS, or RKE2 ) and professional proficiency with kubectl.
Go Development:
Experience authoring production-grade code in
Go GitOps & CD:
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows.
Scripting:
High confidence in Bash for automation and system tasks.
Helm Expertise:
2+ years of experience building and managing complex Helm charts and templates.
Cloud & Linux:
2+ years of experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) and a solid grasp of Linux environments (Alpine, Ubuntu, etc.).
Leadership Mindset:
A proven ability to take ownership of a project area, improve it, and document the journey.
Nice-to-Haves CI Tools:
Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Database Knowledge:
Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.) from either a user or administrative perspective.
Additional Languages:
Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
